Post Op Services
Doctors recommend Lymphatic Drainage Massages after Liposuction, as well as other plastic surgeries, to make sure patients get the best possible results. With regular Lymphatic Drainage Massages, the inflammation can evolve into Fibrosis (a permanent hardening of the tissues) or form Seromas (pockets of post op fluid). The sooner you start your Post Op care, the better the surgical outcome you will have.
Your Post Op services will start with Manual Lymphatic Drainage. The first week after surgery, the Manual Lymphatic Drainage massage can be done as frequently as daily. The second week Post Op, services can decrease to every other day. The third and forth weeks, service frequency will depend on the development of the individual’s treatment results. After the initial period of healing, other options and modalities can be applied as the incisions and progress allows. Perfection has been providing Post Op services since 2015 and we have everything you might need for your successful recovery and getting the best surgical outcome. Scars and Adhesion Therapy
Scar and Adhesion therapy is a treatment for reducing pain and functional limitation, improving pliability in order to reduce scar thickness and smooth surface area. Scar tissue massage is a form of rehabilitation that uses pulling, stretching to remodel the scar tissue. At Perfection, once your technician evaluates the scar they can then employ other modalities and techniques that will further enhance the results of the massage efforts.
